Welcome to Heirs of Peter-a Catholic faith and formation platform. This blog is created out of a deep desire to explore and promote the richness of our Catholic faith which began with the bold steps of St. Peter-a fisherman called and commissioned to be a disciple, an apostle, and a shepherd.
Why Heirs of Peter?
As Catholics, we are the spiritual descendants of St. Peter, entrusted with the mission of continuing the teachings of Christ.
The name, Heirs of Peter reflects our identity as Catholics who inherit not just the traditions and teachings of the Church, but also the courage, humility, and responsibility that Saint Peter exemplified. Peter, the fisherman turned leader reminds us of the transformative power of faith and the unshakable promise of Christ to be with his Church always.
At Heirs of Peter, we believe that every Catholic is part of a spiritual lineage rooted in the faith, courage, and leadership of Saint Peter, the first Pope and the “Rock” upon which Christ built his Church(Matt. 16:18). In this place, we explore the richness of our Catholic heritage, celebrate the leadership and wisdom of the Popes, and offer edifying reflections that ignite hope, love, and deeper relationship with Christ.
